The Painted Desert Inn is beautiful especially the area with theswivel sttol. The kitchen area is intact and there are great views from the inn. The inn paints a picture f simpler times. Take the time to see it.
Spending time here makes one realize just how precious and historic this building is. It also makes one think that staying here would have been the highlight of the Rout 66 drive.
