Considering how old this is it is quite amazing although the bridge is being supported by a block of concrete to preserve it. Worth seeing

simply a petrified tree that is being held up by a concrete support. This stop is easily accessible from the road with a parking lot. 5-10 minute visit. We did not consider this as a must see.

Just a petrified log over a washed out hollow, supported by concrete to hold it up, but great fun watching the kids romp around the hills.

This was a short stop. At one time could see why this was an attraction but time has worn away the tree and now it is supported by a man made structure. Does not take anytime to stop and see. Right next to the parking...More

This bridge is worth taking ten minutes to see. It is a petrified log that fell across a gorge making a bridge. It was really neat that next to it were deer tracks and mountain line tracks also.

Water creates, Water Finishes. This log bridge has stood for many a generation, however, at some point it will disappear. While it stands, it is a must see visit. Be careful, DO NOT WALK ON THE BRIDGE. Simply look and enjoy

An interesting sight that requires about 5 minutes. The log is propped up by cement otherwise it would crack.

Amazing that this bridge is still there and in one piece. I was quite taken with the structures near the gully that had formed from eons of wind and water erosion. Very close to the parking area about a sixty second walk, slightly downhill just...More

“Water will have its way.” This is simply a petrified tree that is being held up by a concrete support built in 1917. Under it is a slow growing gulch that will eventually be too much even for the supports. This stop is easily accessible...More
