This place is probably not high on every tourists list, but definitely something different to do while in ABQ. There is a great variety and you can take photos of them through the glass of their aquariums. They ask you not to tap on the...More

This place may not be for everyone, but if you are fascinated with snakes and particularly rattlesnakes, this is well worth your visit They have some very rare and unusual rattlesnakes and they are all alive. The cost of admission is low. My wife chose...More

A nice little museum. A must do if you are a reptile fan. Cute turtles. Not a bad price. Probably fun for kids.

I cannot suggest how to display snakes in their habitat, but most live snake displays are in a fish tank with some landscape like the habitat of the snake. The museum is a gift shop and museum in the back of the gift shop. To...More

Small museum but really great views of all the rattlesnakes, the staff was very friendly and even recommended a Mexican restaurant down the street that we loved also. Thank you

I would call this the best thing in Old Town, since I was already very tired of stores full of southwest knick knacks. Yes, there is a large collection of very healthy snakes, turtles and other critters, with interesting information on each one. But there...More

This is a fun place to stop for 30-45 minutes, right in the heart of Old Town. There are A LOT of rattlesnakes, as well as other types of snakes to view. We enjoyed looking at some of the snake themed knick-knacks and especially enjoyed...More

Picture a cluttered garage containing rattlesnakes in different cases, and you have a pretty good picture of what this one-of-a-kind "museum" is like. There are 2-3 rooms containing a variety of rattlesnakes, non-rattle snakes, and a myriad of other reptiles. The displays offer "adult" information...More
