We enjoyed the entire museum, with its varied collection. However, the real star of the show was the special exhibit on films and TV shows that are shot in NM. There is quite a history of films being made here, going all the way back...More

Wonderful selection of art and great interactive exhibits on the history of this great city. Special exhibit on film in New Mexico was especially interesting.

We really enjoyed the special exhibit of movies filmed in the state with poster and video clips. We bought the book about the exhibit and plan to see some of them.

So unexpected to find such a well presented and beautifully run museum close to the Old Town. Great section on the film industry in New Mexico which has been the base for a large number of fiolms, and not only westerns

The museum was rented out for a special event which I attended. The staff was friendly. There is a very nice small gift shop. The New Mexico art collection was very good. The museum is pretty small, but nicely done.

Very reasonable admission, especially for seniors. We asked the person at the front desk for advice on how to structure a two hour visit. She was very helpful and asked if we were more interested in art or history. We ended staying longer. The collection...More
