My boyfriend and I drove by the house a few weeks ago, we were in Albuquerque for the first time ever and we both loved Breaking Bad. We had read a few posts/reviews about the family and house in general, so we decided to get up super early and swing by before going to the zoo. We didn't expect to find that the house now has an extremely tall black fence around it (the pictures here seem to have a smaller fence), and even though we got up early, the lady of the house was already up, sitting in a chair hunched over in her garage.
That lady looked furious at us as we drove by, we didn't even stop and pretended to be looking for a different house in the neighborhood, but she looked like she was ready to attack/yell at us for even driving past her house.
A trip to visit this house now is not even worth the drive, the fence blocks the view terribly and the house doesn't even look that much like the one in the show anymore. Also, not worth the look of absolute hatred this lady sends your way for even looking at her house.

Be respectful. Real people live here and they haven't had any privacy since the show started. Be mindful about how tiring that must be. This is a home and private residence first and foremost. You do not have a right or welcome to be there. You are an intruder, intruding on a families home. Be respectful, take a few pictures at a respectable distance and leave.

I went there per my boyfriend’s request, as he is a huge fan of the show. We just planned on discreetly taking a photo from the street, as that was what an article online indicated was acceptable. When we arrived the owner was outside and the sign in the yard said to take photos from across the street. When we did that, she filmed us. We were there for about a minute to snap a photo and that was it. If it had said please don’t take photos, we simply would have left. I empathize with the home owner, but there’s some mixed signals happening here. This is one to skip.

This is a typical suburban house in a typical suburban neighborhood. Even with the notoriety from the show, I didn't find seeing it in person to be worth the trip. While it was the home of the central character, I found other breaking bad sights to be more interesting.

Had to go because I am a huge fan of the show.
I heard all these stories about the old lady who lives there and curses at passerbyes. Well, when we passed by she wasn't there...I was disappointed not to see her. As you know there is a fence around the property now to keep the crazies out.
We passed by without stopping 3x and took plenty of pictures. Hey, we loved the show.
The house itself, is no big deal. We were amazed how they picked this house to use on the show. There is nothing special about it, but I'm sure it's worth some serious coin now.
We also visited Los Pollos Hermanos and the Car Wash. Oh, and the BrBa store in Old Town, is a must visit if you are a fan.

We just went there yesterday.
The house was quite no rude lady that waiting outside. I see some fans driving around the neighborhood, if I live their I would be scared too if some strangers knocking or doorbell. We need to understand and respect their life privacy.

I walked at the opposite side of the house. The older lady yelled at me “private house, get out!” I actually don’t have any interest to get close to her house. I just want to take a picture. I left without taking an picture. A photo will be pointless and disgusting if the yelling rude woman was included.

We went about noon on a weekday, parked a block away and walked up, got our selfies and pics and had no issues. The garage door was open and cars in drive, was expecting to be yelled at by owner but nothing like that occurred. While there around 10 minutes total, about 4 vehicles did the drive by. I except this is a common daily occurrence. We stayed across street for our pics.

The owner is horrible. Screaming obscenities at my young kids. My son wanted to see Walter White’s house and I’m sure we will never be in Albuquerque ever again. We were respectable and parked down the street. The owner waits in her yard and was screaming at us and giving us the bird. I was with a 7 and 14 year old - way to be a positive influence. If you hate living there soooo much, then move. It’s an ugly house anyways.

We read the reviews and tried to be very polite towards the house owners. We stayed on the opposite road (the T intersection) and did not get out of the car. Thankfully we had no issues. It was really cool to see the house in person! And even more fun that there was another car with two fans looking at the same time as we were. We all waved and smiled at each other. Hopefully if we all stay low key and cool we can keep on seeing these places without being intrusive.
