Stopped in at this little bookstore while touring Oldtown, Albuquerque. Great, cozy place featuring New Mexico authors on New Mexico interests. I picked up a book on NM historical mysteries and am loving it. If you get to talk to Jim, the eighty year old...More

Very interesting speaking with this Korean War vet. Ended up buying a book "Forged In Fire, The Saga Of Hershey & Joe"- about a friend of his who is a Medal Of Honor recipient that lives in Gallup, NM.

This was a highly interesting book store, especially the attendant. Very interesting individual with an outstanding personal history. Also someone who knew one of all time favorite authors, Tony Hillerman.

Once in a while, a bookstore’s charm isn’t in the pages it holds, but rather in the people who run it. Treasure House Books and Gifts in Old Town, Albuquerque, has a treasure behind the front counter. He’ll only give his name as Jim, but...More

A great location on the Plaza. It is a first stop to get local books. They are very school in New Mexico books. Treasure House also has the newest local books.
