This is a lovely, walkable, vintage neighborhood where nearly all the streets are named for famous colleges and universities. Central Avenue runs right in front of the University of NM and is chock a block full of coffee shops, eateries, and neat shops. Well worth a leisurely stroll.

Until they have the ART project done, google the address of the business in Nob Hill. Approach the business from the access streets NOT from Central because Central is a nightmare until this project is done. I googled Scallos, approached it from an access street, parked and walked a short walk to the business. P.S. don't waste your really nice... More

A flirty and fun street of eateries, old motels, shoppes, and businesses at various levels of usefulness.

Right now there is a crazy amount of construction in the Nob Hill area, but local businesses are still open. Nob Hill is always clean, safe, and fun. Shops range from high end to tacky tourist. The restaurants are great. A must see for shopping and culture lovers alike.

There is so much to look at in this area. The biggest down side is traffic and construction. The area is not very easy to get to at this time. Walking around this area is really nice because of all the stores.

Unique shopping & eats. Parking is a bit of problem, tho'! Various shops & various restaurants with several menus available.

We walked around the area and visited a restaurant, art gallery, chocolate shop and micro brewery... Very eclectic and fun.

Due to the construction on Central Ave, this location is a nightmare to traverse, parking is beyond terrible, the construction noise is mind-blowing, and the construction workers make you feel unwelcomed at best. Construction to continue thru 2017, and the Nob-Hill establishments have lost my business because of it.
