Trains among the flowers

Be sure to check out the G scale trains running among the flowers. Great site fro kids of all ages. The NMGRR club also sets up more trains, electric and steam, twice a year.

Well worth the stop. Very pretty to walk around. Good variety of landscaping. We went in the afternoon so it was not crowded either.

Wherever I travel, I always find a botanical garden to visit and I am never disappointed. The gardens here are lovely. There are Japanese gardens as well as healing gardens and Southwest desert gardens to enjoy at your leisure. If you are visiting Albuquerque, you should definitely plan to spend a day here. Not only are the gardens beautiful but they are full of magical places for young children to explore. There are castles and giant plants and lots of nooks and crannies to climb through. A great place to spend an afternoon.

The City of Albuquerque has really done a great job with the Gardens. The designs and plant groupings are beautiful! I would be hard pressed to pick a favorite - I love the Rose Gardens, the Japanese Gardens with the waterfall and pond, the large tree canopied grass area, the Butterfly Pavilion, the model train! It is a peace, ever-changing,... More

We visited the aquarium...very disappointing...not very big, went through it in less than 30 minutes. For the price of admission you could find better things to do. It was clean and nice just not very big..

These botanical gardens were beautiful, and it takes a couple of hours at least to walk through. There is a fun "children's fantasy" section, and some gorgeous Japanese gardens and other locations for taking photos, or holding weddings, etc. HOWEVER, I found it a big drawback that the majority of the plants and flowers have no placards identifying them by... We had a few hours to kill in Albuquerque and decided to visit the ABQ Bio Park Botanical gardens, very nice pleasant place, many interesting thins to view. The model train attraction looks amazing but sadly it was not running on the day we were there. The nighttime display looks like it would be amazing too!

This BioPark is located in the downtown area and when you enter, you feel like you are on vacation. It is full of amazing foliage, ducks, and even a castle for the kids. I love to take my camera and walk thru this gorgeous place
