If you're out and about for a walk around campus, be sure and stop by to feed the ducks! There are always students about, walking, studying and enjoying life.

The UNM campus is one of the prettiest I have ever been on. Go check out this peaceful, happy duck pond. And then wander a couple of buildings down to find... The Center of the Universe.

I remember back in the 80s they dredged this pond and pulled out a foot of muck. That was when Berthold was here. Ducks are friendly too.

...not a true destination. Just sort of a respite in the city. If you are at UNM anyway, go. Near Zimmerman library.

I like to walk here on my lunch break quite frequently. It's green and peaceful, a good spot to read or just sit and think awhile.

I just revisited the duck pond, after more than 20 years (received my first degree at UNM). It is still green, with lots of ducks and turtles in the ponds - they have also added a really nice waterfall right up where I used to...More

Maybe a 7 minute walk. It's across campus. But it's not a huge campus.
