We were driving across the country and decided to stop in Albuquerque for dinner. We had our dogs with us so we decided on some thai carryout and wanted a place to eat it that was not in the car. We found this park using google maps and it was close as well as highly rated. We can see why!... More

Roosevelt Park is definitely one of the prettiest parks in Albuquerque with lots of trees and great hills. Unfortunately there is a large homeless population that hangs out at the park. People are frequently loitering and smoking in cars along the perimeter. It tends to host large gatherings on the weekend and can end up covered in trash.

I used to hang there when I was a kid and it is a beautiful park! It need to be kept up and make it a safe place for families. Maybe having some music events in the park would be good.
