We saw this as part of the annual Balloon Fiesta, but it would be a fine as a stand-alone visit as well. Not surprisingly, balloonists are a colorful lot, and the museum does a nice job highlighting the science, history, and personality of ballooning.

You have to see it to believe it. All shapes, sizes and colors with so many in the air at one time. Go very early in the morning to see the entire procedure of getting the balloons into the air. Watch the contest to see...More

Amazing displays. Fascinating examples of actual equipment (gondolas, balloons, etc) that you've read and heard about. Spent an hour there, could have stayed all day and not gotten bored. Wish we had taken a tour......you should.

The museum went above and beyond expectations. There is so much history on balloons. Things you may not know existed. I never knew balloons were once intended for war use. Definitely worth taking a look.

I'm unfortunately not able to give a proper review based on the entire experience for this. We got there with about a half hour to go until they close, but figured that was fine for the amount of time we figured on spending. Given the...More

We had planned and anticipated a trip for 6 months. Had heard about this event for years. SO glad we came (from CA and TX) to see this. We invested in the Gondola Club Tickets, which gave us separate parking area, shuttles to the venue,...More

I would plan a couple of hours as it is interactive, if there are children plan for more time as there are games and arts &craftsman weekends. Try to go in their off hours as it gets really crowded at times. Enjoy!
