This is a excellent museum highlighting the history of ballooning and in particular all of the contributions that Albuquerque and its residents have made.

The Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum is most interesting - giving the history of ballooning and having so many of the balloons, etc., on display. The guided tour was excellent.

The museum was spacious and clean. We went in the middle of a weekday so we were nearly the only people there. There is a self-guided tour and we struggled to find some of the numbers, one of which we never found (#8 I think)....More

Unbelievable place. People come from all around the world to visit and view the fantastic balloons and visit the museum to learn about ballooning

Enjoyable walk through the museum. Very informative exhibits. The ladies at the gift shop were very nice and taught us about the area and informed us about balloon tour options in the area.

Although I started the tour following the numbered display, I soon took to my own wanderings through the museum. There are many interactive displays that kids especially will enjoy. You really get a sense of the enormity of some of the flights that took place....More

The museum was relatively small (took us only slightly over an hour to peruse) but packed with interesting information on the history of ballooning. It's very text-heavy and doesnt have interactive exhibits so it may be a bit boring for younger children. The museum is...More
