Fascinating place

We spent close to 2 hours in this museum and could have stayed longer. The history of the hot air balloon, and all the exhibits were so educational.

The Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon museum is home to a museum with very informative displays and interactive areas for all ages. Families can learn about flight and during the baloon fiesta thousands of visitors head to the park to watch the balloons ascend and partcipate in the balloon glow! The Anderson-Abruzzo Museum and Park has a well-stocked gift store with reasonable... More

I always loved the Dawn Patrol. To see all the different size, color & shapes of balloons taking off at dawn is so awesome.

This venue does an excellent job of taking you back to when hot air ballooning began and how it developed over the years. They have recently added on a section detailing the annual ABQ Balloon Fiesta. There is hands-on stuff for the kids.

This is a fascinating place to learn about the history of Hot Air Balloons, the people who invented and improved upon them, etc. I would highly encourage guests to go here, prior to the Balloon Fiesta. It would really enrich the experience.

If you have any interest in the history of ballooning or just enjoy seeing them, then visit this museum. We happened to go on Sunday, when it is free to visit which made it even better. The docents and staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. This is a beautiful building designed to look like a hot air balloon on it's... More

I wasn't sure of what to expect. We have our young grandkids with us and they tend to have short attention span to anything we like!!! We all enjoyed the museum and the history behind balloon flight. The kids really had fun with the interactive displays, while my wife and I enjoyed all the history. It doesn't take long to... More
