We rented 2 double kayaks and one single kayak and had great fun on the lake. We appreciated the helpful staff and the prices were very reasonable. They also had canoes, pontoon boats, bikes, and surreys, so there were plenty of choices. Good afternoon activity.

Happened upon the fishing derby. Didn't participate, but looked like everyone was having fun! Pretty lake to walk around.

We rented a paddleboat and headed out on a very still, gorgeous morning. They provided life jackets for us (age 4 through adult) and the boat seemed very stable even as we moved around to switch who was at the pedals and who was steering....More

You can walk all the way around the lake, on the trail you can see wildlife, including wild elk up close, don't get to close, they are not known for being overly nice. It was wonderful walking along and there is this cute little bridge...More

This part of Estes Park offers a variety of water related activities from typical marina to kayaking and to simply enjoying the water. The access for the public is easy and the activities range from free on up to ?

The marina is easy to find and pretty nice. Unfortunately, the road is dirt, so it's likely to get muddy, and the parking is on the pricey side. As drop-in marinas go it's definitely worth checking out if you've got a kayak or other small...More

Riding around Lake Estes was not all that interesting for the cost of riding the bike. We had to trade out a couple bikes because of issues with them. I would not bother with renting bikes just to do the Lake loop trail.

If you are in town, and would like to do something with family for an hour or so, it's a good place to come. We saw many people fishing around the lake too. Not worthwhile to come out of your way though. The lake is...More

Also, I'm from Northern California, where we can enjoy the rivers in the Summer. Not so in Colorado. You might find a shallow creek to splash in, but otherwise, expect ice-water!
