The kids and adults love this trip. There's a little restaurant on the top two beverage and a snack and look out over Estes Park from the top of a mountain. There are several walking paths at the top so you can explore and spend...More

We enjoyed the tram ride to the top of Prospect Mountain. We arrived around 9:45 on a Wednesday morning and had about a 30-45 minute wait for the tram. Once we made it to the top the views were amazing. We also bought peanuts to...More

Our Grand Daughters used to call this Chipmunk Mountain. It has a great view of Estes Park and the Rocky Mountains. Sorry to say it looks like two thirds of the chipmunks are gone.

We waited 20 minutes to ride. They have a nice gift shop at the base. They fill the trams to full - approx. 10 people. Once at the top, there is a gift/snack shop and an area for hiking/exploring. Fun thing to do,

The Tram ride itself was a fun ride for the whole family. The wait was short, and the ride exhilarating. However, the top of the mountain was... so-so. Still, definitely something every family should do once.

So, it was a great view from the top. The ride up (and down) was uncomfortable with so many people cramped in for the ride. There isn’t a way to really enjoy the scenery on the way up or down with so many people blocking...More

We enjoyed going up the mountainside on this scenic trip. My only concern is that they allow people to buy peanuts to feed the wildlife, which I feel disrupts nature.

It's a nice view, but for the price it would be nice if there was a little more at the top of the hill (food, drink, etc..). Otherwise the price was a bit steep for this type of tramway.

It's a unique way to see view the city. The lines are long and move slowly due to there being two carts carry 8-10 people each. I have no complaints, just not sure it was worth the wait. You can drive up to any of...More

We went later in the afternoon (around 3:30 pm) and the wait was not terrible; probably about 20 minutes. The view was beautiful, and we actually got to watch a thunderstorm off in the distance which was really cool! There are a few small trails...More

Pets are not allowed. They have a website that states it at Estestram on the hours and rate tab.

We timed it at about 3.5 minutes. It's faster than we thought it would be.

Yes, however they put the amount of people in one car they deem fit. Could be one car will take 8 and another car 6, all depends on the host on the car and how large or small the people are and family size.
