First time here. What a lovely little theatre. No such thing as a bad seat in the place. A christmas carol was on and it was just so well done. The seating is steep and there are lots of stairs and not a lot of leg room, be warned. They do have wheelchair accessible seating though.

Our 13th season with Trinity Rep. Excellent acting. This year's Christmas Carol was far different from the previous 13 years with a more modern twist to Dicken's classic. Not one of our favorites. We are more traditional. Still, the acting was superb, set wonderfully decorated, songs not Christmasee enough for our taste. We love Christmas Songs and we really didn't... More

I have been to several plays at Trinity over the years, but never been a huge supporter until recently. I had the opportunity to go to an open house over the summer, and I took the "back lot" tour. I was astounded at what goes into producing a play at Trinity. No detail is overlooked. I decided to volunteer as... More

Trinity Rep consistently provides excellent theater. The resident acting company delivers great performance after great performance - regardless of whether the play is an old favorite that you know well or is a world premiere performance. As a season subscriber I've seen well over 70 different plays or musicals through the years and I keep subscribing because they do such... More

Having recently returned to trinity this year after a decade-long hiatus, I can honestly say it's one of the best things about Rhode Island. Turns out, they've even instituted a new plan where anyone under the age of 35 can enroll in the free program which allows them to purchase $25 tickets to each regular season play. How can you... Attended the open caption performance of The Hunchback of Seville, the show was even more entertaining than I expected. The actors were great, it was an extreme dramatization based on history. I highly recommend the show, read a synopsis beforehand to enhance the experience (I had no idea what the play was about, before doing a web search). As always,... More

This theater is really fantastic!! Very family friendly and every seat you get great view! It is small enough that even if you sit far you can still see the cast's emotions and feel so captured by the show!

I saw Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep last night and greatly enjoyed this year's play. Trinity does Christmas Carol every year and decided to put a spin on it this year. As usual, the actors are very comfortable with their roles and the children are very talented. The special effects are amazing and beautiful.and sometimes eerie. As a volunteer usher, I... More

Caught a showing of their latest production, Julius Caesar...great theater that features acting students alongside the professionals--really adds to the production. They also mix things up a bit---Julius Caesar was a lady in the one...loved it. Theater is downtown and has a national reputation for being one of the best in the country....seats are a half-cirlce so you're all about... More

we have a great time with our friends,go to dinner on the Hill and then come to Trinity for a great play. What a nice night we have being together and just relaxing and watch a bunch of actors do their thing. The night just goes by while you watch and your mind is only on the play and the... More
