We've been here on several other occasions for plays in the 'haybarn', outdoor concerts, or tours of the Coe House...but, today we came for the Camelia fest. Back in September during a tour of the Coe House and a walk around the grounds we strolled through the Camelia greenhouse and a caretaker told us that they usually bloomed in full... More

My mother and I love this place. The grounds are big and beautiful with several greenhouses. It's a nice place to visit and see the variety of lovely flowers/greenery and also have a picnic. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

We were very impressed with the indoor gardens / greenhouses and paths. Will return in the spring / summer to enjoy the outdoor trees and gardens or maybe early fall to enjoy spectaculat foliage. Great place to chill out and enjoy a picnic. Even our teen enjoyed the visit!

I love the grounds here which are huge and scenic and very well taken care of. The greenhouses are also impressive- so many different plants and flowers, colorful and there is a hush inside them that always makes me smile. I toured the mansion with my friend- deciding to not go with a docent (The one bone I had to... More

Nestled between Oyster Bay and Locust Valley, this arboretum is a sanctuary for those who want to bathe in nature's glory. From large maple, oak and other trees, to a garden tended by the staff, from flowers to greenhouses, this is a wonderful place for a walk with a camera and a friend.

This place is breathtaking on each season. The colors of all the trees and flowers are picture perfect. They have events throughout the year that are terrific for nature lovers, but also for children. This place has become one of our favorite for weekends!!

Beautiful grounds, beautiful castle like home. The 13 th century English stained glass windows blew my mind. Today they had children's Christmas activities from gingerbread man decorating face painting and free tattoos for the kids. Also Christmas Carolers in the main halls. Beautiful day at the planting fields. Can't wait to take a trip in the spring.
