Located very close to the city, we were surprised to find a place where we could walk around a little lake, enjoy a picnic and check out people fishing and boating. It's a pretty area with lots of birds and water fowl.

Lake views, a good place to go for a picnic, interesting lakeshore, lots of birds, mostly pleasant quiet on weekdays (weekends they fly some radio controlled model airplanes), a mostly quiet enjoyable place for family picnics.
