This is a fun place to getaway for several hours, but not at night because the area is very dangerous. Your safest option is to go there with other people, not alone. Be sure to ask if they have at least one security guard on...More

My wife and I visited Old Tucson Movie Studio On December 2, 2018. We travelled from Minnesota to see a movie theater that I wanted to visit for decades. For a full day of fun, the admission price of 20 dollars each was a real...More

Yee haw! Get a taste of the Wild Wild West, or at least how Hollywood sees it! That's right, Old Tucson is the set for numerous movies throughout the years. There's quite a variety too! Scenes from films such as Tombstone, Young Guns 2, Night...More

Take a walk through an area where hundreds of Western movies and TV shows were filmed before catching fire in 1995. Stunt shows, demonstrations, train, horseback and stagecoach rides, a haunted mine and displays of costumes from Little House on the Prairie, Bonanza, The Big...More

My husband and I recently brought our 3 grandchildren here. Yes, it is quite campy, but they really loved it. The staff is really nice and seemed genuinely excited about giving visitors a great experience. We saw two shows in the Grand Hotel. The kids...More

Even though the events planned were rained out, we still had such a great time here with two children under 3 years. We learned a great deal about the Old Tuscon days and would love to see this place when the sites are open.

I would not advise going till next fall. It can be extremely hot during the summer months. If you wait till fall, there will be fewer people and should have time to ride what you want to
