I was very impressed at the amount to cultural exhibits here. They take it to the next level with the dioramas. When I go here I spend at least an hour. Parking in the garages near the university is easy and affordable.

We often go to sponsored lectures on special subjects. This museum is a good place to visit if you want to learn more about the geology, the anthropology, the pots and baskets of Arizona.

Large enough and not overwhelming. We timed it for the overview tour. Almost always a good way to go. Park outside the entrance to the university

This is a great museum for a survey of the anthropology of Arizona and surrounding regions. Solid collections of baskets, pottery and good overview of ancient settlements-civilization. You can speed walk in just over an hour, or spend several.

We learned a great deal about the many Indian tribes that have a significant history in Arizona through well done displays, and the pottery exhibit was amazing. A great stop while seeing the campus at the University of Arizona.
