This strange little misnamed museum really has nothing to do with time, so don't expect watches or timepieces. And persevere as it only reveals its hidden depths after the first room or two so don't be put off by cheesy troll displays. Keep going and enterter an enchanted world of truly fantastic doll houses and miniatures. Only the truly jaded... More

Hello and thank you for the nice review. We have to explain our name often, but there is meaning behind it. The museum was founded in 2009 by Patricia Arnell, whose collection you see on display. She has always referred to her collection as The Mini Time Machine, because of the way she feels miniatures transport the viewer to different... More

I've always loved miniatures,so when I read about the museum, I thought I'd give it a try. I loved the museum from start to finish. I honestly thought we'd be finished quickly, but much to my surprise, we could have spent an entire afternoon looking at each display. The beauty and variety of miniatures was incredible. Go and enjoy. The gift... More

Two words....Pete Acquisto....Master Miniature Silversmith. Mr. Acquisto is truly a one of a kind Master at making miniature sterling silver replicas of famous other Silversmiths.....such a Paul Revere Jr. Log onto You Tube and watch his amazing story and how he makes all of the brass originals, then molds then has them cast in Sterling. He has two displays that... More

Being at the time of my life when glasses are needed, having to focus on miniature designs, didn't seem like a lot of fun. I was wrong, it was a lot of fun. Just imagine such talented people bringing history, stories, fables and movie sets to life on a small scale. I spent a little over two hours studying the... More

The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is wonderful. The reviews we read before going did not give a full picture. These are miniatures of dollhouses, holiday villages, and themed displays. The work is incredible and you lose track of time once inside and walking around. I sincerely thought this would be a quick tour. This is a massive collection... More

I love this place and have been there many times. One doll house took 30 years to build. There are huge ones and smaller ones, many with a theme.

My granddaughters, 10-16 want to go here each time they visit. The exhibits are fascinating for adults as well. The miniatures are amazing even if you are not an aficionado of such things. Well worth the trip

As a laugh to pass some time a friend and I decided to go... we ended up spending almost 3 hours there!!! Room after room of fantastic miniatures - fantastical, historical and you get lost in the stories these rooms tell. The 1pm free docent tour was cancelled the day we were there but there is an audio download for... More

Depending on your interests you can spend an hour or three hours. The detail on some is incredible. One dollhouse took 30 years to complete. I think adults will appreciate this more than children other than a room geared for kids. Small gift shop, very enjoyable.
