one of the Tucson city courses and worth a quick afternoon visit. PM rates are fair and the course moves a little quicker than the morning. Not real long at 6011 from whites or 6436 from the tips. Greens are hard and fast so a...More

This is a typical desert course. The fairways are brown, dormant grass but the greens are in good shape. It's fairly easy to get a tee time and the course staff are friendly and helpful. Green fees are very reasonable and the course is easily...More

The greens were in good shape, but the remaining sections have not been maintained well. Holes too close to each other. If the city will eliminate a course to save money, this would be the one to close.

El Rio is a nice city course - mostly flat terrain with some challenges presented by bunker placement. It's certainly not the most scenic or well maintained course in the area, but the price is right and it's a fun place to play.

Average course, wide open areas. Lots of gravel areas as rough, sandboxes are typical mostly finer stones not really sand. The greens were the worst I've played on. Mostly dead from winter with only patches of green here and there which makes putting accurately nearly...More

I did not care for this course. There are no fairway layouts on the score cards or the tee box signs. Also they have the holes so close that when you see the flag, there are often two flags and it is hard to decide...More
