Very short ride up what looks to be a small mountain, but when you reach the top, you can see all over the Tucson valley. U of A students paint the giant Big A every year.

Sentinel Peak, known as "A" Mountain by the locals, is a fun place to visit, particularly around sunset. It offers a great view of the surrounding Tucson area. We've frequently seen it used as a backdrop for professional photographs.

You can drive or walk up the mountain, its peaceful ride. You can get a great view of the Tucson lights in the evening but they do close early.

Is the drive to the peak dangerous? I don't like driving on windy mountain curves. Is it an easy drive to the top to see a sunset?

Easy. It may be windy but that doesn't impede your driving. The view is worth it.
