This was a nice walk with my teenage daughter and my camera. We loved the artsy vibe, the colors, and the architecture of the old neighborhood.

The Barrio Historic District has a few attractive buildings and some historical significance but on the whole is a bit of a run down neighbourhood. It was worth strolling around - just - for a half-hour or so.

Was really looking forward to the buildings and history but didn't feel like the area was promoted. No signs for specific buildings or areas to check out.

This is an interesting part of Old Tucson in the middle of Downtown. We took a short walk from the St. Augustine Cathedral to see this area. There are a lot of colorful buildings and shops. Nice place to visit.

The shops and eating places as well as the people really make one feel truly welcome. The shops display works primarily of local artists and many many others. The , I think cooperative, pottery facility is very interesting to observe and you can purchase items....More
