This one way trail is of moderate difficulty but easy to follow. Plenty of parking at the trailhead. Poles were useful for us on the sometimes rocky surfaces.

Hiked back to the Dam a few weeks ago. Had not been to Tucson for many years and was shocked at how development has encroached on the canyon entrance. It was a shame to see the old horse fence, that was meant to keep horses...More

This is a relatively easy 3 mile (one way) hike to an old forest service dam. More experienced hikers can go from here to Mt Kimball.

This is a terrific hike among the desert flora. It can be done to any length, time, and ability. It's an out and back trail - you get to decide how much to do. It's great for kids.

Pima canyon is a great place to hike and get some nice views of the city. It will be challenging if you go far enough in. You can always stop and turn around if it gets to be too much. First few miles are easy.

Excellent for a quiet hike on non-paved trails. Wonderful view of the west side of Tucson. Some nice waterfalls reward you for your hiking.
