This is a nicely maintained park and usually relaxing during the day. But this is an area to avoid after the sun goes down because it gets real dangerous around here. Gang activity has picked up over the past couple of years. If you go...More

Lots of of trees and grass; Plenty of space and ramadas for family gatherings. Parking is not a problem. It could stand a little biy more TLC. Check out the special rose garden. There is also a small lake, hill, and waterfall. The zoo is...More

Other than the zoo, you have to check out the Reid Park Rose Garden! I did not know about this hidden gem the first few years that I lived in Tucson. Now that I do, I visit often! Surprisingly, the roses are in bloom most...More

Having worked in the animal care field for a number of years, I was truly heartbroken to see how small the animal enclosures are — especially the tigers. They were pacing back and forth on their tiny strip of dirt for hours, showing clear signs...More

Some of the most beautiful and fragrant roses. Amazed to see them in Tucson and not merry olde England. Beautiful.

Perfect park for a picnic. There are playgrounds for the kids and lots of shade to ensure you don't submit to the ravages of the sun. I great relaxing spot to unwind in the afternoon, weekends, or after a visit to the Zoo

Reid Park Zoo was a wonderful experience! The animals were well cared for and partnered. We saw animals enjoying their habitats, which were amazingly clean. The elephant area is spectacular- and the giraffes were very social. I will return next year, and encourage all to...More

There is not anything you can't find to do here. Lots of picnics, great gatherings for clubs and service organizations. A good way to raise money for your special organization on many different week-ends.
