This is bike friendly, pet friendly with running water bathrooms. They have pavilions for shade and on Sunday mornings they have a farmers market. A ramp leads down to the river bed.Go enjoy it.

The Rillito River Park provided an excellent trail for our cycling adventure. The path wound around in a loop that afforded modest difficult and great scenery. While touring on our road bikes, we met several bicycle teams that were very friendly and engaging. The beautiful...More

We stayed nearby during our visit, and we walked and rode our bikes here often. The path is smooth and well maintained. This is also a great place to bird watch. Unlike many places in Tucson, this trail is pet friendly. There is a farmers...More

We visited Rillito River Park on a beautiful spring day, accessing it from the convenient parking at one of several adjacent parks. It is a paved walk on both sides of what I assume is a consistently dry river bed. There is a good view...More

We stayed in Tucson for a month and brought our dog. The river walk by Brandi Fenton Park was particularly wonderful. My husband also made full use of the river trail bike path. Great amenity.

The River Path that runs along the Rillito will ultimately circle the city. Currently you can run, walk or cycle nearly 100 miles on nicely paved paths.

Beside the wash, this pathway, on both sides of the wash, was a superb place to walk. Great views of the mountains surrounding Tucson, nice wide pathway and lots of others out enjoying the day. It goes 12 miles, one way. There are quite a...More

At this park (and at various other places along the trail) walkers and bikers can get on the Rilloto loop. We traveled almost 20 miles on this path. It was well maintained with few people mud-week on a February afternoon. We rode from Alvernon to...More

We walked on the path next to the group of parks that the path connects. The bikers were very curteous and the other walkers were very friendly. We enjoyed the chance to walk somewhere close to where we were staying.

Great place for walking or biking on paved loop paths. It's awesome when there is water running (which it was when we were there, as we had heavy rains). Pet friendly and the loop goes in several directions, so you have choices as to how...More

As we rode, I did not see any bike sharing or rental areas along the pathway. However, search online for a rental shop that may be close to the path. It's a biking city; I'm sure there is something close.

I have seen bats at Sabino Canyon, yet There's a huge bat colony at Campbell Ave and River Rd, under the bridge where Campbell crosses the Rillito River. You can park at 1820 E River Rd or at the Trader Joe's across the... More

The only place I could think of would be near the bridges, or trees. I did not see any bat-houses. During the summer, the bats migrate, and go after the night blooming saguaro cactus flowers. Good luck on your bat hunt.
