I have been in a lot of shops and galleries here in Tucson, Santa Fe and elsewhere that sell Indian jewelry and art. I was born here in Tucson, and I still have a coloring book my mother bought me at the shop when Mark Bahti's father ran it. Some of the most beautiful pieces of Navajo jewelry I own... More

Mark Bahti is a long established dealer in Indian jewelry, rugs, and other art objects. In these days of questionable origins for these items, Mark Bahti's solid reputation in Tucson as well as Santa Fe assures you of authenticity and quality. Very knowledgeable sales staff.

Beautiful and unique items at reasonable prices. Mark is very knowledgeable. If you weren't a collector before, you will be one after your first visit.

If you are looking for authenticity, craftsmanship, and quality from the Native Nations, if you want to understand what symbols mean ( or don't mean) -- or understand the different processes of silversmithing go here. If you want something beautiful to give to someone you love -- that will never fall apart and is NEVER made out of fake re-constituted stones... More

I like Bahti for Zuni fetishes! But there is an amazing collection of high quality turquoise jewelry, Native American art, baskets, etc. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Never disappoints!

Mr Mark Bahti and his staff are exceptional. Not only they very knowable in reference to their art objects but extremely helpful in the merchant-customer relations. I have been shopping at there for over 20 years and never have I been disappointed.!!

If you're looking for high-quality Indian crafts, Bahti Indian Arts in Tucson's St. Philip's Plaza has a nice selection. The small shop displays everything from jewelry to pottery and represents a large number of Native American artisans from various tribes. I like to buy fetishes here to give as gifts to people I visit abroad. They are always intrigued by... More

I live in Santa Fe but could not believe how badly the Native salesperson treated me. I asked about a particular artist. She only would quote starting price for this jewelry and would not show me the case. So I went over to it and asked to try on a piece. She said I couldn't. I asked her why not.... More
