I love this place. It's a dusty, cluttered, rock shop like you never see any more. Great geology and fossil specimens, lots of interesting oddities (bat skeletons), artifacts, faceted and cabochon stones. The owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. Scouting leaders. This is a great...More

Quaint old rock shop run by a man with a heart of gold. Wide selection of rocks at reasonable prices. The owner was extremely nice, and my kids enjoyed playing with his dogs, who had full run of the shop. I had to get a...More

I can’t deny the very friendly atmosphere, fascinating pieces or reasonable prices, but don’t let all that blind your critical eye. Particularly when purchasing the artifacts or more sensational fossils. After doing some research on a piece I bought I became entirely convinced it was...More

It is a great place and I would recommend to anybody whether or not you are knowledgeable about minerals. Everybody there was kind and helpful. A variety of rocks, minerals, and geodes. Overall a great experience.

This rock shop has lots of variety in all of the rocks and minerals displayed for sale here. We were turned off by so much dust on everything, most gemstones are much more intriguing when shiny and displayed with care. We were disappointed in the...More

Assuming that this is the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show. There are 62 separate locations though out the city. I don’t get the tons and tons of rocks but I guess some people do. The KINO Sports Center has many, many diverse exhibitors.

This is by far one of the best rock, fossil, and mineral shops in the entire land! It is shockingly awesome and I loved looking around at their huge selection. It also had excellent prices on the many treasures they have for sale.

From the looks of the guys running the quaint shop you would have thought that they were dug up with the merchandise: craggled and weather worn. But looks are deceiving. The owner is entertaining, friendly, and blessed with a kid soul. My 6 yr old...More
