My husband and I visited Salem last week, and this place was on our list of things we wanted to check out. I'm so glad we did! It was so neat! As a huge horror fan, I was in heaven. I would definitely recommend this place.

This place is short and sweet and a must for anybody who is interested in any kind of horror movie. I believe we bought the graveyard pass which allowed us to enter gallows Hill theater for a short play with our purchase of the nightmare gallery ticket. With our admission we were paying for a haunted house and could come... More

The statues are awesome – I mean, really, really well done. And the variety and scale of horror history covered is thorough. On the downsides, the place is pitch black which scared the kids (and made for a lot of collisions) and the main concern of the place is that no one take photos. When asked, they'll tell you it's... For the most part, haunted attractions like these in Salem are very, very short. They do make the best of what they can being in a space that is the size of your average Claires store in any mall. It's definitely one of the better ones, but that's still not saying a whole lot. If you want a fun, quick... More

We visited the Nightmare Factory on 10/29/12 and can honestly describe it as a TOTAL waste of time. If getting frightened is in your repertoire of fun things to do while in Salem (and mine is), then do not walk, but RUN away from this ridiculous not-scary bunch of nothing. It's located in a "mall" - but I'm not quite... More

Awesome attraction! Takes about 15 minutes to go through. Price is right ( do the grave hopper pass). Rivals a lot of larger haunted attractions I have been to.

My 13 year old and his 16 year old sister and 9 year old friend went into the Nightmare Gallery. They enjoyed the attraction and found it scary and fun. Maybe a little heavy on the strobe lights and a little short (about 4 minutes). But, overall scary fun:)

We just spent the weekend haunting Salem....walked through a number of haunts - Nightmare Factory, Frankenstein's Laboratory & the Haunted Witch Village to name a few. There were 10 in our group and we all agreed that THE NIGHTMARE FACTORY located in the Museum Place Mall was THE BEST OF THE BUNCH. Frightful, creepy, intense, truly a good scare. Artistry... More

We were looking for something quick and fun to do while we awaited our scheduled evening tour. The kids (boys aged 10 and 7) were looking for a good scare, so we decided to check this out. It wasn't cheap (22 bucks for the 3 of us) and it only took about 5 minutes to walk through. However, it was... More

This was the scariest haunted house I've ever been in! People and things popping out from all directions, and sometimes you even had to push by creepy things to keep going! The guys working there were so talented at terrifying people!
