I've been twice in Salem and this was my favorite witch history museum. It's really entertaining and they have scenes that talk with lights and sound effects. The guide was very knowledgable and she made it fun. The other places weren't that good.

I think we picked the wrong day to explore Salem as it was very very crowded! We were lucky to even find a parking place in the multi-tired garage--just saw someone pulling out and were able to snag it! The sidewalks were crowded to the...More

This was enjoyable! I liked the walk through and the exhibits were moody and atmospheric. I liked that it was informative and gave a good overview of the trials and the history. Great place to get the presents for family!

The Witch History Museum is an informative walk through the past. Basic info was recounted the same as in other places; however, there were a few details that had a little different spin on them. All in all, worth the time and money.

Our guide through this museum was very knowledgeable and the stories were interesting. The mannequins were a little creepy, but it was neat to go through an exhibit instead of just looking at it. I did not regret stopping here.

We visited the Witch History Museum on Essex immediately following our venture to the Witch Dungeon Museum. At the previous site, we enjoyed live acting, a substantial bona fide artifact from the 17th century, and an extremely knowledgeable tour guide. That is not what you...More

Have to declare our hand here. We disliked Salem from the moment we arrived. There is nothing tasteful about any of the witch attractions. At least this one tries to give you the information about what really happened. The displays just make easier to listen...More

This museum is a little informative than the other of similar theme. However, be prepared to up/down stair, due to location of exhibits in basement.

Just a dark dingey basement with outdated animatronic figures. The tour guides seemed like they didn’t want to be there either and all they did was press play for short, audio explanations of the Salem Witch trials probably taken from Wikipedia. Not worth the money....More
