We went in for one of the services and highly recommend stepping inside if you're around. Although the outside looks a bit imposing with the stone and little graveyard in front, the interior is comforting and a warm place to gather yourself after walking amongst the masses.

This is such a beautiful, old church on the outside! It's still in use today. Unfortunately, they're only open for services at this time. They're not open for tours or visiting. It's an intriguing church with gravestones in the front yard. Am hoping they open this treasure soon. LOVED the architecture!!!!

They had advertised on their website and their front door that they would be open for a candle light tour on Oct 28th, but it was locked and no one was there. Would have loved to have gone inside and donate.

Came across this place a few times during our trip to Salem . Found it pleasant on the eyes...small church. Tombstones on the front. ... Said to. Yield, what a quaint place. Then found out that church was remodeled and tombs were moved so church could expand. During mass, there are bodies below you

This is a beautiful old stone church right in the heart of downtown. You should definitely stroll by if you're in Salem.

After an expansion which went over a cemetery the tombstones were moved to the front of the church. Unfortunately the church is closed except for services. I believe that the locked doors are a missed opportunity.

A historic must see. The church is beautiful inside and out. It is said that the church is haunted and that at night there has been activity in the window and bell tower. Great for all ages, in Salem it is best to park and walk around but this is close to all the happenings during October.

Impressive construction with a panoramic view of the city. 350 stairs and good physical condition is needed.
