True kindness is a rare quality in a person. The guide of this tour is one of the kindest people I have ever met. The tour was informative and it was obvious he wanted everyone to learn and have a good time. He brought several props with him, which seems like a lot to carry on our journey. Spoiler Alert - I want to share two things, but don't read on it if you don't want to know what happens - he is so kind as to give each of us a piece of candy made right in Salem (it was delicious and I ended up going to buy more). Also, when we arrived at the witch trials memorial, I was perplexed as to who was placing flowers on the memorial. Then to my delight, I realized it was us. He gave each of us a small flower to place on a memorial. It was a moving act for me. The fellow who was squished to death (can't remember the official term) didn't have any flowers from another day, so I placed mine there. It really touched me. I went on the tour to learn about the witch trials, and left having fell in love with the town of Salem. Also, he recommended a wonderful place to eat and we got two lobsters for $25.95 at a restaurant a few minutes away called the Anchor House - so fun, make sure to stop if you love lobster.
