We liked to walk around the river and we even liked the boat ride around the riverwalk. Good place for taking pictures.

The Riverwalk is absolutely beautiful. Try to come between Thanksgiving and New Years to see all the lights.

I really enjoy the river walk area. I know its touristy and pretty much the only thing to do is eat or drink. Some of the places are pricey, but I just enjoy the area. Its a beautiful part of the city to just walk...More

What a lovely walking place (or running). The view is nice and peaceful. The ground is NOT smooth so if you have a walker or stellar with small wheels it might be difficult.

Spent New years Eve at the Riverwalk, the people were friendly, the service was excellent, and the mood was festive. Lots of friendly people, good food, and great atmosphere.

If you are at Alamo and Riverwalk then it is convenient to do this tour. Riding the boat on the river is relaxing. (The river is narrow, shallow and very slow moving). Some nice history given by guide.

The Riverwalk is touristy but in a fun way. Has plenty of Mexican restaurants of course, as well as barbecue and others. Near the Alamo and other downtown locations. And during the Christmas season it is all lit up

What a special city to visit! The entire spectrum from the amazing history of the Alamo to the new creations on the Riverwalk to 6 Flags and Seaworld!

There are many entry points. The entrance near the Aloma and shopping mall parking could be ideal. Normally on holidays you will find it difficult to get parking space. As long as you can walk to the water taxi start point... More
