Please read the web site and it has the note for people who wants to take the History tour. We requested a easy Sightsee Ver of Gary's tour, but it was for History mania rather than first-time San Antonio visitors. We also took the boat...More

Skip Gary & go to the Alamo. Most of the information was at the Alamo. Gary delivered a lecture. I was quiet when he was talking, but even during transitions, he did not welcome conversation between the lecture. When I asked him a clarifying question,...More

Gary has incredible knowledge! He shares his knowledge of the events and area in a manner that keeps you wanting to know more. He actually gives a better timeline of the actual events and how it all unfolded.

There are tours and then there's tours. There are tour guides and there's tour guides. Gary and our tour immediately proved to be the latter. Right at the start, with his take on the Alamo, we were bedazzled. You knew what was coming for the...More

While the description for this tour emphasized that it was a serious history tour, our group was nonetheless taken aback by the intensity. It truly is for those who want an in depth history lesson on this part of Texas. As Canadians we did not...More

The highlight of our visit to San Antonio! Beautiful walk with so many restaurants. Be prepared to get a little turned around sometimes. Apparently after Thanksgiving they turn on festive lighting which I'm sure is amazing.
