The fact that this is still a working base is incredible, as it feels like you’re taking a walk through a history book when you’re on base. Would love to dig deeper and know more, but in my short stay i was so impressed already!

We enjoyed hearing about the history...that part was good. The ID check to get into the complex was unpleasant-- we were treated like military/criminals. The staff were not very friendly and seemed very suspicious of visitors. I don't think they want visitors there...

I would suggest to call a taxi the night to schedule an early pickup ride to the airport.
