Must-see for Alamo History

Go to The Fight for Texas. Sit in the back! IMAX is very intense! Very moving. A little expensive for a 45-minute movie, but worth it.

Very good, gives you a sense of patriotism and pride Very well done. Tip, see it before you tour the Alamo itself Great for the whole family

Saw Rogue One in this theater and it was Fantastic. Big screen and very comfortable seating. This was my first time ever in an IMAX theater and I was amazed at the size of the screen. Made my movie experience that much more enjoyable.

The 50-minutere re-creation of the battle of the Alamo made our visit to the Alamo very profitable. The theater is just a block away from the Alamo itself.

So you buy your ticket, then go through the parking garage to the theater. Kids really enjoyed recliners

We had already been to the Alamo and have leads great deal about it but the movie is a great way to bring the story to life. It is pretty graphic but my 8 year old was concerned but not scared.

We were advised to see this film prior to going to the Alamo. It is an enthusiastic production, and there is no doubt as to who the heroes were! The film runs 45 minutes, so is quite expensive, but it does give some background into the Alamo. It also helps to explain the importance of the Alamo for the residents... More

We watched the Alamo movie. It was a good history of the battle but I thought $12 each was a bit high. If you have time it's good but it's not a must see.

I saw the movie before going to The Alamo. I'm glad I did. It made visiting the historical site more real. They did a good job with the movie. In about 45 minutes it not only explained the battle and its significance it gave some insight into the human aspect of that time. It is shown in an Imax theatre... More

We went to watch an actual IMAX movie but got distracted with another regular movie in the normal portion of the theater. I was originally irritated because I had movie theaters in my home town so it was nothing new but holy smokes that theater was nice! Granted in Austin we are used to getting served dinner with the movie... More
