This golf course has for too long been the red-haired stepchild of San Antonio golf courses. The brilliant folks who built this track in 1984 forgot to install irrigation on the fairways and neglected to plant trees. Two years ago they put in irrigation and last year hundreds of trees were planted. This course is a sporty layout with wide... More

Fair prices and corse is in great shape. Would recommend for an intermediate player. Was easy to get a tee time during week.

This god course is pretty far south of San Antonio and a city course. It's not in bad shape and can be fun. If you like hitting long drives this is a good course for that. The trees aren't an issue but the rough can be a game changer.

First we had a 10:15 tee time and there was a tournament being held and we could not tee off until after 11:30. To tell us they had a 10:25 tee time was just deceptive trade practices. Next event though there had been plants of rain the greens were bumpy and in poor shape. The rough had not been mowed... More

Significantly upgraded since 10 years ago and the layout is very good. The pace of play was slow for a Thursday, but what was the worst was the wind out of the north made the round even tougher. Cannot do much about that!.

At my recent visit at Mission Del Lago I was happily greeted by great employees. They always kept a smile. Even in a tough situation, they will always try to balance the problem and have you leaving with a smile. I love how relaxing the layout is and the environment is also soothing. Their only work in progress would be... More

This is a run-of-the-mill municipal course in southern San Antonio. There are few hazards and out of bounds areas so it is a good place to play if you or a member of your group are learning how to play. If you are traveling to San Antonio, I beg you to play a better course. The Alamo City has plenty... More
