We went on a Wednesday, Google Maps said it was open but it was not, there was no one there we could ask, not a single sign of a reason why they were closed, I called several times but nobody answered, pretty disappointing.

Very nice park with a lot of walkways. There are a couple of interesting older structures in the park. They look like parts of the aquaduct system. Seems like a nice place to walk.

Yes, swimwear is required in the pool. You may find additional information on the sanantonio.gov website for hours of operation, etc.
