A must do whenever I am in San Antonio. I never fail to find something. Love the shops, the restaurants and the street vendors.

I was hoping for something less touristy and with more authentic antique shops. Some interesting a unique things to buy, but not what I was expecting.
Lots and Lots of stores, all selling the same thing. Make sure to check all areas out as you can get the same souvenier for a different price. Fun to look at all they have to offer, though. Just got tiring. Theres restaurants as well...More
Little shops along the way - can get a Churo and other food items - there is a mall area also with more areas for beer, etc. Fun to look around

We went to market square (El Mercado) on New Years Eve day. We had brunch at Mi Tierra's, a family tradition and watched the kids take it all in. Visitors to San Antonio should make this one of your must-see stops. You feel like you...More
We enjoy visiting here when we are in san antonio. The shops are overflowing with imported items from mexico. There were performances by dancers when we visited also. There are a lot of restaurants in the area also. We always visit Mi Tierra.
Lots of cute little shops to browse through and shop. There is a bit of repetition in the type of items offered in the shops, but the festive atmosphere makes the market a nice stop. There are a few restaurants located in market, square. Parking is...More
Worth stopping by for a short shopping trip. There are some interesting places here and some tourist traps. As long as you know what you want, and know how to avoid what you don’t want, you’ll love this place.
