Easy to spot from the freeway. Looks like a roadside attraction you would see off of route 66! Everything is bigger in Texas!

The boots are located on side of mall. We went early in morning before many people at mall and had no problem viewing them and taking photos

It's amazing how giant it is, it's on the side of a mall, a nice memory of San Antonio Texas. It's a short but fun stop, I recommend them.

I pass by these every day! They are fun to show your children and take a picture but are in a difficult place to get up to and stand by or touch. It is too dangerous to get out because of their location but fun...More

They were made by artist Robert Wade of Austin, Texas. He and were high school classmates at El Paso High School in El Paso in the late fifties. We graduated in 1961. He has created many other Art pieces around the country.

It's nice to stop by and take a pic over there. It's not too special but nice to memorize it. So just go ;-)

Having been here as long as I can remember, this pair of boots along Loop 410 in front of the North Star Mall is hard to miss. It's great for checking the block, getting the photo and that's it. You will need to park in...More

I'm a sucker for this kind of attraction so really enjoyed seeing the boots in person. But be careful when taking your photos, this is a fairly busy section of the mall with outgoing traffic and you need to keep your eyes open.

There is a parking garage for parking but..... I visited before the shopping mall opened & it was a busy little intersection with workers coming in to work. I pulled into a no parking zone for a quick little picture snap.
