Just went here today with a friend to hike. They have a number of good trails. You can go on a easy hike or if you are up to it, choose the trails for a more strenuous one. I took our dogs today and it is a great place for them. Folks that you pass along the way are always... More

Eisenhower Park is a great little park snuggled into the north side of San Antonio. It has both paved and natural trials, lots of clean restrooms and picnic areas, nicely done interpretation of the local flora, and a super vista of San Antonio sprawling to the south.

I signed up for meet up for a hike on Christmas morning at this park. Lost the group quite early on as they were moving fast and I was not. Never the less I discovered all the trails meet and are fairly short in distance. There is paved one wheelchairs. I hiked the nature trails which were bedded with chips.... More

I was not aware there was any really elevated hiking in this area but I am grateful to have found this spot. There is a chance to look at the city since the park is on the outskirts of town. There are natural trails and paved trails but we enjoy the natural trails more. The trails were not especially hard... More

The park district and Birds of Prey put on an excellent educational program for International Vulture Day at the park. The pavilion was very nice and the grounds looked very well maintained. Parking wasn't an issue and there were bathrooms on the site. We enjoyed the park program

This is one of my favorite parks in the San Antonio area. Plenty of hiking trails from paved mostly flat to steep natural trails. You can get away from the city noise and think you are in a rural setting. There is plenty of parking and good views of the Rim and Downtown. Bathrooms, picnic tables, kids playscapes are plentiful.... More

This was an amazing little gem to find on my trip to San Antonio. I was at the park when it opened both days, The trails are well-maintained and the signs are excellent. At the end of the one trail there is a platform that offers a 360° view of San Antonio. It was amazing to be there as the... More

Been there before but took a grueling trail to the north. Great work-out with steep climbs. Always pack for a picnic afterwards. Good security so you don't have to worry about your vehicle.

Very nice, secluded park specifically designed for family cook-outs (small grills for burgers, dogs or steaks), hiking and dog walks. The trails are not for biking although bikers might like this as a destination since NW Military drive ends at the park next to the restricted entrance to Camp Bullis which is a US Army base. It is about three... More
