The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts is a beautiful building inside and out. The acoustics were good. There is Public Parking nearby that only charged us $5 for 5 1/2 hours. Staff at the Tobin were very friendly, professional, and courteous.

This is a great concert venue that has above average acoustics, comfortable chairs (with no drink holders), and friendly staff/ volunteers.

Had tickets for a show in May. It got postponed due to someone in the entourage having COVID. I got an email and phone call from the venue the day it was postponed. That was pretty impressive!

I had the option of getting a refund, but they rescheduled a week or so later for June and I was able to attend. As soon as it was rescheduled, they emailed AND called to let me know, again pretty impressive.

We were in the Alvarez Studio Center, a small and intimate venue. We were in the 4th row, right off the center, great seats. Right up close and personal. I don't think the place holds more than 300 people and I doubt there's a bad seat in the house.

The concert was great. Parking for $15 was right next door and it took 2 minutes to get out of the garage. All in all this was a marvelous venue for a concert and I'd go back in a second.

Beautiful performing art center. Helpful volunteers. However, masks are still required when you enter the facility, despite even airlines having dropped their requirements. But not to worry, because apparently covid threat disappears when you go to your seat because they are not required standing or sitting in your seat. Makes zero sense. Fail.

This place *still* requires masks. A detail they leave out on their site, spend your money elsewhere.

How amazing was this tour?! My husband and I made it a date night on 3/17/21 and love the Tobin and thought we would try this social distancing event. Amazing! This was perfect! We did the 6:30p show and it was so amazing. As avid Office fans, this ended up being great laughs and giggles and we were able to enjoy and explore a bit of downtown San Antonio. I absolutely recommend this walking tour even if you’re not an Office fan. Great job Tobin center and it’s actors! We loved it. Our “Michael” made it worth it!

There is no “bad” seat in this center. Comfortable, clean, and the show we saw was a fabulous one night production of An American in Paris.

I was here for a rock concert and met the head of security (Jose). Not only did he tell us it was ok to vape tobacco but he also said it was cool to smoke herb as long as we were on the floor. Awesome guy. Can't wait to come back. Thank you Jose!
