Lovely church and great place to stop by and take photos. You may enter and take pictures of the beautiful art inside as well as light candles, pray or just enjoy the peacefulness this place provides.

Wife and I went here thinking it was where the spiral stairs were. Happy that we made that mistake. The grounds were nice to just sit on a bench and look about at the building and the sculptures. Inside was ornate with its stained glass...More

I am not cathelic but it was still a special service. The whole service was so inclusive to out of towners and non-Cathelics. And it was baptism day too so extra special service.

Short visit to this large cathedral. Reminds me of many in Europe still an active church. Don't miss the garden with the stations of the cross

One of the many churches we experienced in Northern NM. Much larger than I had imagined. Quite a complement to the Loretto Chapel up the street.

The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi at 131 Cathedral Pl, Santa Fe, NM 87501-2026 is a must for visitors. Around Christmas there are free concerts by the Santa Fe Opera.

Very interesting basilica. The history behind the basilica, the number of times it was destroyed and rebuilt are impressive. The grounds are impeccably maintained. The interior is beautiful and photography is allowed. Well worth the time.
