Santa Fe is a town known for its complementary healthcare, so services like massage are available throughout the community and can be obtained at many places. However, in my 30 years here, I have never received better treatment than the attention from the professionals at High Desert. They are superb. In addition, I would like to thank one of the... More

I booked a massage for my son and myself. In the past we have had massages at a local spa that I felt was too overpriced, so I decided to try High Desert. My son was immediately put off because the atmosphere is not "spa-zen" with cucumber water, robes, soft music, candles, dim lighting, etc. But I told him to... More

I actually visited this spa because I had hurt my calf muscle while there on vacation. The facility is simple, neat and clean. If you are looking for a waiting room where you wear a robe, sit in a dark room with snacks and listen to zen music, this is not the place. However, the quality of massage is outstanding... More

I went in of what I thought was going to be a regular massage, I was wrong. I got a lesson in body work and how it's all connected. Amelia was great I only wish she was I Dallas I would see her once a week!

If you're in Santa Fe and and wanting/needing a massage this is THE place to go! Prices are reasonable and the massage I received from Catherine was excellent. I requested a combination of Swedish and deep tissue - when I left, I felt 1000% better that I did when I walked in.

We booked a message for each of us to be done concurrently on our last night in Santa Fe. My husband had the hot stone massage, and my sister and I the deep tissue massage. Very relaxed comfortable atmosphere with a very professional skilled staff at about a THIRD less than the other more well known spas in town. Don't... More

A few weeks ago (Nov 2012) I stumbled across High Desert while walking the street looking for somewhere to work on my leg and am so glad I found them. They managed to fit me in later that same afternoon and again the next day. Both people that worked on my leg saw the obvious need to work the areas... More
