When walking along Alameda Street, where a bridge on Old Santa Fe Trail crosses the tiny Santa Fe River, there’s a lovely park and urban walking trail. There are sculptures, picnic tables, and locals use it as a dog park, so be careful where you...More

Within the very popular Plaza District you will find this approximately 2 Mile bike walk-in dog pathway. If you should get tired walk up to the book box and grab a delightful read or Meander down to the waterfall for a breathtaking casual moment

It's been a while since we've seen water in the river and what a nice surprise it was. The trail runs alongside the river and is used primarily by walkers and runners. It's a cool escape with trees and a variety of native vegetation. There...More

The best part of the park is that it offers places for visitors to relax on a lawn or bench during their visit to Santa Fe. There is a "river" walk, but it is rarely used in part because the Santa Fe river may be...More

The river was running, which gave off a pretty relaxing sight. It is very shallow. We watched a young child play in the water. It was a bit cooler near the river and there was shade. Parking was easy to find, up near the wooden...More

Great place to walk through the north part of the city. The river bed is dry with a soft sand base that makes walking a pleasure. Great way to experience a different view of the city.

Long linear park following the river. The trail is easy and a gradual slope. The problem I had with it was the noise. By a busy road, it really was not an escape or restful.

Anywhere you walk in Santa Fe is interesting and the walk along the Santa Fe River and the related park area is interesting and quite pretty. At our visit the river which at best is a creek was bone dry. It is worth the walk...More

Shade trees, little places to sit on a bench, gurgling stream with mini-cascades flowing here and here, natural landscaping, and such a nice visual break from the hustle and bustle of life in the city (block out the traffic sounds for a perfect bit of...More

there is a sitting bench about every quarter mile along the approximate four to five mile hey scenic walkway. there are inlets at every block to accommodate a wheelchair and the curb side steps are low.
