Plan on 90 minutes, maybe a little longer, but this collection doesn't have the depth of most museums so you won't spend even a half day. There are good exhibits, nicely curated, so do enjoy it.

I've been to this museum four times now and each time am impressed by the quality of the shows. Wonderful range of artists and one of the best bookshops on Indigenous history, literature and representation.

At $12 for admission the price is a little high for a limited permanent collection. On the other hand the guided tour was interesting and worth doing

We could have spent another 1-2 hours more to really take this in. Some wonderful history and artwork. It has a beautiful court yard and the architecture is the authentic work.

Very good NM and western art museum, located close to the Plaza. Always enjoy both the standing and traveling exhibits, and provides a nice retrospective of the NM art movement.

I stood before the Georgia O'Keefe's works, inspired all over again about her vision; I enjoyed seeing examples of her earlier work and how she evolved over time--supporting us all as we develop our work, reminding us that is how art evolves. Great museum!

We visit this museum yearly and were expecting a lot of changes after the renovations. But we had to work pretty hard to see where the improvements had been made. The art displays have moved around a bit and there is new paint on the...More

It was very busy since it was the 100th anniversary party! But mostly very well organized, not too crowded to be able to get close the exhibits, it is large and diverse with the exhibits and art works!

Had a good visit at the NM Museum of Art. A bit smaller than expected. Most of the downstairs galleries focused on NM art. Contemporary pieces were in the back. Upstairs (there is an elevator), were photographic artwork. The courtyard and sculpture garden were, also,...More

There are a few pieces of sculpture visible through the fences, but sadly the museum was off limits. Of course the gift shop was open. We had purchased the Cultural pass, and this museum was part of it. It will reopen in November.
