Well worth a visit when you are in downtown Santa Fe - just around the corner from the plaza and can easily be done in an hour or two.

Underwhelming, docent followed us around the entire museum. We love museums, but have never been to any museum with so little to offer.

A few pieces of art were memorable and I'm glad we got to see them. I will confess most western "cowboy" art doesn't excite me much.

It doesn't have a large collection but it is well presented. The gift shop is excellent - better than the equivalent in Britain would be.

Beautiful museum that doesn't charge on Friday nights. We wandered for a couple of hours, lots of history, loved the exhibition on the hot rods really showing a different side that unique culture.
