Well, now I feel bad about the horrible review I gave this place the last time! It had been quite some time since my sister and I were at Camelrock Casino. We were virtually unable to breathe in there, it was so smoky, and I'm a smoker! This trip, we decided to check it out again, and we were very... More

My wife Marianne and I stopped in the Camel Rock Casino on the way from Santa Fe back to Albuquerque, NM. Inside it was very nice and really looked like most other casinos except that it was smaller. Much smaller than if you have been to the ones in Las Vegas. All in all it was a nice stop while... More

My wife and I noticed the Camel Rock Casino as were were on the highway heading North to Taos and decided to take-a-break and stop-in. Very pleasant break. The restroom were IMMACULATE. We enjoyed a tall iced tea / lemonade (Arnold Palmer) and the staff throughout the Casino were welcoming and very pleasant. We are happy we stopped.

Heard about the casino's seafood buffet so stopped in for a bite. The wait was about 20 minutes and the crab legs were a favorite for many but fast food would have been an equally satisfying and cheaper choice.

We were surprised at the small size of this casino and the atmosphere in the building. The machines all seemed to have seen lots of service and with a low ceiling, the room was smoky despite the fact that there were only a few patrons. We had lunch and the staff were very friendly but the food was just average.

Dirty, unfriendly staff, blah atmosphere. Never lost money so fast in the slots as I did here. Quickest $100 I ever lost in a casino anywhere. We were in and out whiting 15 minutes.

Yes, it is another casino but without the big crowds. And they have lots of new machines. We had lots of fun and took some extra money home.

I like the casino well enough, although its a bit dingy, but seemed homey. Someone needs to advise the local police force there that the camel rock casino is a customer service environment. I was courteous, low key and friendly and was confronted by an obese overbearing mean-spirited police officer over a minor parking issue. His behavior was so offensive... More

Best part of this was going to see Camel Rock on the opposite side of the highway. This casino really sucks. Stinks of old cigarettes and air is filthy. Think downtown Vegas and you'll get the idea. Poor tables selection. No craps. No roulette. Staff not friendly either. Best thing was when we drove away.

Almost missed the attraction. It's easy to by pass off the highway. My kids wanted to walk up and take pictures. After a few pictures...that's about it to see. Kinda unique.
