A Nice Introduction to Santa Fe

A great way to get a little taste of what Santa Fe has to offer. I have no doubt you could take this tour with different guides and get different stories and highlights. Highly... read more

We found the listing on TripAdvisor and showed up at the Hotel St. Francis with time to spare. No one showed up. Next day we phoned first but got only a recording that gave the same time and place. Showed up again but no one appeared. Hotel knew nothing about it. We did our own walking tour and saved $28.... More

We so enjoyed Phillip and his "intuitiveness" with Ghosts. He was a great story teller and kept our whole family entertained. We have a 10 and a 17 year old and the historic walk is something we did as a family and one we will never forget. Thank you Phillip -you were engaging to all of us and we so... More

Arlene was our tour guide. We met at the St. Francis hotel. She was very knowledgeable, friendly, funny, interesting and paid attention to our group, always making sure we were all together before starting her next explanation. Took us to very interesting places and gave us much information. My daughter lives in Santa Fe but had never taken a tour... More

This was one of the best tours I have ever taken. It provides a thorough and interesting history of Santa Fe and the surrounding areas. It includes entrance to the St Francis Basilica and the Loretto Chapel. Our guide, whose name I can't recall but who is Polish in origin was fantastic. She also offered many helpful tips about the... We joined the tour at St. Francis hotel on a Tuesday morning. Our guide was young woman Iwona (spelling?) originally from Poland. The two hours passed very quickly. We paused to sit in a few places while she told us about history of area from early Spanish colonists, through Pueblo Revolt to Los Alamos Manhattan Project to a Jeff Bridges... More

Although we had already walked Santa Fe's small historic district the day before, we were keen to fill the gaps in our knowledge about the city and its history. Unfortunately, we were not much the wiser after our 1.75 hour walking tour with Phill. The brochure advertises this tour as 'the most interesting and enriching way to see the city'.... More

We joined the Historic Walk of Santa Fe at the St Francis Hotel at 9:45am on a Tuesday morning. What a wonderful experience we had. Our guide Ivona was so knowledgeable, interesting and a delightful person. For a meer $14/ person we were given an informative 2 hour tour of the Plaza area. I can highly recommend this tour.

They stick to the facts and provide hearing pods so you don't have to cluster around the tour person. Ours was a very nice man who herded us thought the typical sites and had a wealth of info and stories. Nice that he would distinguish between the myths and historical facts. Just know that you don't go into the Churches... More

We were in Santa Fe last week and my brother recommended taking this tour as a starting point to exploring the city. We met our tour guide (I think his name was Elliot) at the Hilton. We made one more hotel stop and then were on our way. Our guide was very informative and started off in a unique way... More

A great way to get a little taste of what Santa Fe has to offer. I have no doubt you could take this tour with different guides and get different stories and highlights. Highly recommend this as a first stop on a trip to Santa Fe, as it will give you ideas of things you might want to explore further.... More
